FAQ

The questions worth asking

Account safety, where your password lives, which AI writes the messages, and how the cloud-plus-local split actually works.

Will this get my LinkedIn account restricted?

No tool can promise it won't, and you should distrust any that does. What Quill does: caps under LinkedIn's published limits, human pacing on every action, a circuit breaker that slows sending when acceptance drops, and a hard stop on any warning. The riskiest thing in outreach is volume on a cold account; the 14-day warm-up ramp exists for exactly that.

How is Quill different from classic automation tools?

Classic tools help you send more messages. Quill helps you decide who to contact, when, and what to say. Instead of uploading a cold list and blasting a generic sequence, it scores each prospect against your ICP, writes from their actual profile, and sends on a human schedule, in the cloud or from your own machine.

Is Quill only a LinkedIn tool?

LinkedIn and email run together, coordinated automatically, in the cloud or from the desktop app. The point is fewer, better conversations from prospects who actually fit, not raw volume on one channel.

Where does my LinkedIn password live?

With the desktop app, your LinkedIn session stays on your machine, encrypted in your operating system's keychain and never sent to a server. In the cloud, it is encrypted and isolated to your own workspace, where each LinkedIn account runs on its own residential proxy.

Which AI writes the messages?

Claude by default, for scoring, openers, replies, and booking. You can route any step to another model with your own API key. Keys are stored locally, like everything else.

Do I need the desktop app, or just the web app?

Neither is required. The full product runs in the cloud, LinkedIn and email included. Download the Mac or Windows app if you would rather run everything from your own machine and IP. Same features either way.

Who is Quill for?

Lean B2B teams that want pipeline without more manual work: founders creating pipeline without an SDR, agencies running outbound across many accounts, and sales teams that want reps in conversations rather than building lists.

What does it cost?

Quill is $39 a month for Starter, $99 for Pro, and $249 for Agency. Team plans for agencies and sales teams are priced on a call. Cancel anytime to start.

Does it run on Windows?

Yes. The desktop app ships for macOS and Windows, and the cloud runs from any browser on any OS.
