Will this get my account restricted?

No tool can promise it won't, and you should distrust any that does. Where does my password live?

With the desktop app, your LinkedIn session stays on your machine, encrypted in your operating system's keychain and never sent to a server. In the cloud, it is encrypted and isolated to your own workspace.

What if LinkedIn shows a warning?
